Top Design High School According to U.S. News: Design & Architecture Senior High School

After passing the audition phase, I was fortunate enough to gain acceptance into Design & Architecture Senior High School in the heart of Miami's Design District. Placing me in the reach of various opportunities to gain experience interning for local companies like Van Teal Lighting and The Borscht Film Festival Group. Afterwards accepting a paid intership over four years curating the TEENMIAMI museum exhibition at the Historical Museum of Southern Florida in the heart of Downtown Miami.

Recieving a Presidential Scholarship for College

Senior year of high school I applied to over ten design schools throughout the country. National Portfolio Day in Miami allowed me to network with recruiters from each school and establish familiarity. As a result, I was able to recieve a Presidential Scholarship to study at The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. Allowing me to focus on my academic achievements and developing my design work. By graduation, I had recieved awknowledgement for making the Dean’s List while enrolled in Dual Enrollment and Entrepreneurship courses at Marquette University in Wisconsin.

5000 Role Models of Excellence Scholarship Program

A mentoring program spearheaded by Frederica Wilson in South Florida. Which boasts more than 8,000 boys of color in grades 3-12 in the Miami-Dade County Public School System. After eight years of mentoring, these young men are prepared for the real world of work and responsibilities. Graduates of the program, are awarded a $5000 scholarship and a celebration for all in the state to attend the mentor ceremony.


S.V.A. New York Pre-College

Students explored the fundamentals of art and design at a level not readily available in high school. Upon completion I recieved three college credits for the successful completion of the summer program.

Institute for Educational Advancement

An award-winning program, where students take classes that promote exploration and application of knowledge. Courses are taught at a flexible pace with small classes by highly qualified, dedicated professionals.

Pensole: Footwear Design Academy

A footwear design school based in Portland, Oregon. Founded by D’Wayne Edwards, The 11-week courses are equivalent to a full college semester; with emphasis on CMF, Modeling, and Final Presentation .
